Washington, DC - Last night, Congressman Wiley Nickel (NC-13) joined Democrats and Republicans in championing a bipartisan tax relief package to lower costs for working families and small businesses.  

The bipartisan package expands the Child Tax Credit and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, incentivizes research and development, and supports small businesses. 

“Right now, working families and small businesses in my district are struggling to keep up. They deserve to know their leaders are willing to roll up their sleeves and come to bipartisan compromises that will make a real difference,” said Congressman Wiley Nickel. “This bipartisan effort will go a long way in lowering the cost of housing, reducing child poverty by expanding the Child Tax Credit, supporting small businesses, stimulating research and development, and delivering vital tax relief to working families in North Carolina’s 13th District.”
