Congressman Nickel Joins Democrats for Border Security Task Force

Today, Congressman Wiley Nickel (NC-13) joined members of the Democrats for Border Security Task Force for an introductory press conference outside the U.S. Capitol. 

The Democrats for Border Security Task Force is a new working group of twenty-six House Democrats led by Reps Henry Cuellar (TX-28) and Tom Suozzi (NY-03) urging Congress to work together on bipartisan, sensible border security solutions.

“A divided government requires bipartisan solutions, and we have to work together to address the crisis at the southern border,” said Congressman Wiley Nickel. “It's time for House Republicans to get serious and come to the table so that we can make sure that the American people are safe, our borders are secure, and immigrants are processed with dignity.”
