Today, Congressman Wiley Nickel issued the following statement after the Israeli cabinet voted to approve a hostage deal: 

“This deal is a necessary first step that will reunite innocent women and children with their families,” said Congressman Wiley Nickel. “We must also reunite over 150 other civilians still being held hostage. My focus is clear: support Israel’s right to defend its citizens against terrorism, ensure aid reaches Palestinian civilians in Gaza, and work towards lasting peace in the region.”
