Today, Congressman Wiley Nickel (NC-13) issued the following statement on the Republican Motion to Vacate: 

“My constituents deserve a Speaker of the House who will bring Members together and find common ground,” said Congressman Wiley Nickel. “It’s past time that the House pass a budget that will make positive changes for North Carolina. Right now, my constituents are grappling with real issues that require bipartisan solutions. I won’t be voting to save Kevin McCarthy’s Speakership.”
